This Cookie Policy explains how Asterlio ("Asterlio", "we", "our", or "us"), a product of Omniswift, uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website or use the Asterlio CRM platform, including its web dashboard and embedded chat widget.

It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains in more detail how we collect, use, and safeguard personal data. By continuing to use Asterlio, you agree to the use of cookies as described in this Policy, except where you have opted out using the controls described below.

The cookies we set fall into the following categories:

Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for the Asterlio platform to function. These enable login, navigation, and access to secure areas of the dashboard. Without them, Asterlio cannot be delivered and you would not be able to sign in or raise a support ticket.

Security Tokens: Short-lived tokens used to protect your account against CSRF attacks and unauthorised requests. These are essential for maintaining account integrity.

Functional Cookies: Remember your preferences such as language selection, workspace, notification settings, and whether you have dismissed certain in-app prompts so you do not see them repeatedly.

Performance and Diagnostics: Help us understand how the platform is being used — for example, which pages load slowly, where errors occur, and how features are adopted. This data is aggregated and used solely to improve reliability and user experience.

To keep our practices clear, the following categories of cookies are explicitly not used by Asterlio:

• Advertising cookies that display personalised ads based on your browsing.
• Cross-site tracking cookies that follow you across unrelated websites.
• Data-broker or profile-enrichment cookies.
• Cookies that record or replay the content of your private support conversations for marketing purposes.

Certain features of Asterlio rely on trusted third-party services that may set their own cookies when you use them. These include:

• Authentication providers that help verify your identity during login.
• Cloud hosting and file-storage providers used to deliver attachments and media shared within support tickets.
• Email delivery providers used to send transactional messages such as verification emails and password resets.
• Meta (WhatsApp Business API) infrastructure, where organisations have enabled WhatsApp-based support.

These third parties are bound by contractual obligations to process data only on Asterlio's instructions and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Their own cookie and privacy practices are governed by their respective policies, and we encourage you to review them where relevant.

You can control and manage cookies in several ways. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent Asterlio from functioning correctly, including stopping you from being able to sign in.

7.1 Browser Settings

Most modern browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies through their settings. You can usually find these controls in the privacy or security section of your browser preferences. You can also configure your browser to alert you whenever a cookie is being set.

7.2 Device Settings

7.3 Asterlio In-Product Controls

Where non-essential cookies are used, Asterlio will provide in-product controls to let you opt in or out. Your preferences are remembered for future visits to the same browser and device.

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting that sends a signal to websites indicating that you do not want your online activity tracked. Because there is no common industry standard for how DNT signals should be interpreted, Asterlio does not currently respond to DNT signals. However, we do not engage in the kind of cross-site tracking that DNT is designed to prevent.

Asterlio is designed for use by professionals and organisations and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly set cookies for, or collect personal data from, minors. If you believe a minor has used Asterlio, please contact us at privacy@asterlio.com so we can investigate and remove the relevant information.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our use of cookies. When we make material changes, we will:
